About unicode support. Lied currently doesn't have a complete unicode support. If you have the need to use accented or special characters, but you do not want to give up the Lied menus, you might consider the use of Clilypboard. Clilypboard has all Lied features, at exception of the text editor, and has been rebuilt as an independent tool, that can be used combining it with your favorite text editor.
